About The Journal
Hospital Practices and Research (HPR) is a peer-reviewed international academic journal published quarterly by Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences. The journal publishes high-impact studies related to key aspects of hospital research. HPR provides a forum for hospital specialists to debate contemporary challenges of hospital research and healthcare services delivery and to seek ideas and solutions to achieve higher performance and effectiveness in healthcare settings. Our primary aim is to facilitate the exchange of ideas, hypotheses, techniques, and information among all physicians, staff, and students. The journal's main focus is placed on efficacy in improving clinically relevant outcomes such as mortality, morbidity, quality of life, function, and costs.
Platinum Open Access
Hospital Practices and Research (HPR) is a Platinum Open Access journal, i.e., totally free of charge for the readers.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
The HPR publishes all its manuscripts in full open access, meaning unlimited use and reuse of articles, in addition to giving credit to the authors. Iranian authors pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of peer review administration and management, language editing, designing, professional production of articles in PDF and other formats, and dissemination of published papers in various venues, in addition to other publishing functions. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no charges based on the length of an article, figures or supplementary data. "Letter to Editor" is free of charge".

Note: There are no submission fees or article processing charges for international authors.
Upon submitting an article, authors are asked to indicate their agreement to abide by an open access Creative Commons 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under the terms of this license, authors retain ownership of the copyright of their articles. However, the license permits any user to download, print out, extract, reuse, archive, and distribute the article, so long as appropriate credit is given to the authors and the source of the work.
